The Time Capsule kit was created to eliminate stacking spacers on your steerer tube when using a direct-mount stem. Offered in various lengths, they are easily placed over the excess steerer tube and feature an integrated top cap, for an all-inclusive, lightweight alternative. They are strong, durable, powerful, and do not rely on a coating of any kind to provide a friction surface. They do require the use of an organic/resin brake pad, but you do not have to leave them home when the trails get wet or muddy. As long as you use the appropriate sized rotor for your application, you can abuse them just as much as your heavy stainless steel rotors! |
