Slopestyle.cz - Duncon Team Strikes Back | 11.10.2007

Our two top riders Fuji and Papież amazed crowds (this time in czech republic) once again.

First Urban Slopestyle in Middle-East Europe took place in Pisek - city with beutifull historical center one hundred kilometers south from Prague. Whole event was organized by X-Zone Media Company, Freeride.cz and Michal Marosi who designed obstacles. Track was combined out of nine skatepark, freeride and dirt obstacles. Very demanding course required technical skills as well as good stamina (there was a lot of pedaling). A short description of the track: First gap (1,5 meters high, 4 meters long), hard to jump over and totaly anti trick. After the gap there were two spines, first one with subrail and the next one classic, narrow northshore, step up and step down, two dirt jumps 6 meters and 4,5 meter, quarter with wallride, 4,5 drop and quarter at the end placed on the river !
Organizators invited 36 riders from Canada, Poland, Czech republic and Germany so the competition was very demanding and Fuji and Papież were shining stars in this international grup. During the qualification round only Damian Sirski was beter than our guys! Papież and Fuji showed very diversified runs, 360, fufanu, table tops, backflips, tailwhips, x-ups from big drop were most frequent tricks in their arsenal. All together with great fluence and smoothness finally they finished on: Papież second and Fuji fifth place. Congratulations guys ! Next Year we will come for sure.
And one more think: probably next Year such an event will be organized in Poland so stay tuned!
We have prepared some great photos for You in our gallery (day1), (day2)

SuperLeague 2007 - Super end | 2.10.2007

Olsztyn - last and final part of superlaegue (the most popular polish 4X, DH and Dirt series) is finished in this season. It is time to take a closer look at thise particular edition and the series at all.

Olsztyn was always known as the "single soft dirt" this year situation changed - organizers aded one more. In those tough conditions Papież took first place showing his regular tricks (taiwhipp, 360 on the second, flip with table top, no hand), RAF who showed 360 on the first, X-up on second, no hand and table and 360 during second run took second place. So: pussy frames: 1-st and 2-nd place. Drop contest was also a great competition for DunCon frames: third (RAF on Pussy) and second place for Sebastian (Pitbull). General classification, Papież was third but he started in 3 out of 6 eliminations (won all of them), fourth place for Sulej, and fifth for RAF.
.In Drop contest: Sebastian on Pitbull - 2nd place, Raf on Pussy - 3rd place, Koper on Akita: 4th place.

Another test of our frames in "battle" conditions was very good. We are very happy becouse of that and we hope for more next season. It was also a continuation of DunCon team sucesses from last year (Papież won dirt jam and Rubin 4X classifications, Rubin was second
in overall classification just becouse he was competing in 4X World Cup series during last edition of superleague).
And now few words about superleague: Year after year Superleague series are growing and growing and we are happy to see more DunCon frames users compiting in those
and not only profesional series.
