At 4.5 kgs with the shock, the new Disco Volante is a work of art built specifically for the most demanding and technical race courses out there. Features unparalleled adjustability and an agile, durable frame ready to take on anything. Intricate CNC work and beautiful welds make this bike a true attention getter. The adjustable design, unique to Karpiel, allows for a tunable progression rate, rear wheel travel and bottom bracket height. The frame accepts 3 shock length options and provides a total of 195-250 millimeters of rear wheel travel. Karpiel International was formed in 2007 as a European Union Business Development Partner with plans to manufacture the legendary Karpiel Armageddon, Disco Volanté and Apocalypse mountain bike frames. We are now in the process of reintroducing these famous frames with exciting new upgrades designed and tested by Jan Karpiel himself. We will continue to build on the legacy of Karpiel innovation begun in the deserts of Utah 15 years ago by introducing brand new bike frames, currently in the design phase, which will take the sport of downhill and freeride to an entirely new level. Karpiel International is a small bike company that places emphasis on craftsmanship, quality and design. Karpiel bike frames are not produced in factories, or in large numbers.
